Looking for a way to give back to the community? Volunteering is a great and many hands make light work. Check in here for current volunteer opportunities in the neighborhood. We have an ongoing need for people to work with our board members on our Project Teams. These teams take a deeper dive into specific challenges or opportunities related to neighborhood priorities:
- Our Natural Environment
- Racial Equity and Social Justice
- Community building and Outreach
- Housing and Transportation
- Small Business Support
- Events
In addition, we have a SENAFuture planning group who are focused on all things related to the funding cuts we will be experiencing from the City of Minneapolis over the next few years that will reduce our support from $77,000 annually to $20,000 by 2023. If you are interested specifically in participating on a project team, please send us an email to office@standish-ericsson.org and write “Project Team” in the subject line and we will send you the sign-up form.
