The Black Radish Project is an Artist-led Urban farm initiative and CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in the heart of South Minneapolis. The Black Radish works with and within the local community to convert ornamental lawns or unused private spaces into lush, food producing gardens. We then plant, maintain and harvest these spaces giving the homeowner a share of weekly produce. We currently produce enough food with this patchwork collection of land to operate a sliding scale CSA that feeds 50 local families every week for 16 weeks. We operate out of 10 yards with more waiting to be converted to garden space. Visit us.
